Are you sure we are alone
If only I could explain you what's going on
My head is full of cotton wool
I may be insane, but I ain't no fool
Ain't gonna be treated this way

They lock me up whenever they please
And every time something breaks in me
I beg my demons please go away
I'm not religious, but I still pray anyway.

And the doctors say I'm not okay
For a few months more I will have to stay
I can't think for myself that's what they say
It's these drugs they forced me to swallow yesterday
Yes these drugs keep me from walking far anyway

Just to feel if I am still alive
Sometimes I try to commit suicide
That's what they call a cry for help
But it's just that I don’t know how to do it right

As God is my is neighbour, that's what he says
He keeps getting calls from the secret service
He says that I should join his army one day
I'd make it from soldier to general right away

They said that now that I am cured from insanity
They don’t know any more what to do with me
So they kick me right back into society
And my story starts all over again, I am so sorry
